- ★ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆Living in Powhatan Co. for over 30 + years. The encounter I had with a sheriff was unacceptable. I would put a name to this post but he did not introduce himself nor did he leave me his card. He badgered and bullied me to commit to an an accusation which did not occur. He twisted my side of the story to the point where I had to clarify and re-clarify then start from the beginning once again. This abuse of power, lack of professionalism and unacceptable conduct from a police office, and lack of courtesy speaks volumes during these times of public mistrust with police officers.By Beth szulczewski, April 19, 2017
